How to file a petition for review

If you do not have an attorney to represent you, and you want to file a petition for review of an interlocutory or other non-final decision or order from the Alaska Workers’ Compensation Board, the Alaska Workers’ Compensation Appeals Commission has a packet of instructions and forms to help you.

The packet title is:

The instruction packet also contains instructions for filing an opposition to a petition for review and a cross-petition for review. You do not have to file a cross-petition for review. Please see the instruction packet for more information regarding cross-petitions for review.

Hard copies of the instruction packets are also available at the Commission office in Anchorage, and at the Alaska Workers’ Compensation Board offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau.
