Are 401(k) deductions reportable?

No. A 401(k) is an IRS qualified retirement plan, and therefore, meets our criteria for exclusion from the definition of wages. There is more information about this in the Tax Handbook in the section about Retirement Plans and Section 125 Cafeteria Plans.
